New Laptop!

Blogging from my new laptop....oooh this is going to be fun! I may actually be able keep up with this now! But first I need to learn how it works...so different from my pc, plus the fact that it's windows 8...apps...what? Yeah I have to get used to it. Ok, I'm going to go play!

Short break, no I'm not giving up!

So I took a little break.....but mostly because I really wanted to wait to get some new scrappy stuff. I got to go to my fav LSS-Buffalo Stamps & Stuff yesterday. For one I haven't been there in years, two, man does Sharon have tons of stuff in that little place....I could of shopped for hours!! I can't wait to go back, but unfortunately it may have to be limited to once a month, lol. Then I went to Micheal's and was a bit disappointed, lots of stuff on clearance, but nothing new like the Heidi Swapp stuff I was looking for...ah well, maybe next trip. After that I was planning on Joann's and AC Moore...but I think everyone and thier mother was out yesterday and the traffic was horrendous! So I settled for what I got and today I made these two layouts. If my children don't drive me insane in the next few hours, maybe I will get a few more done!! Oh and I'm off work tomorrow so maybe more then too!! Have a great weekend everyone!

Two for the weekend

Happy that I got one of each of the girls done this weekend. Now I should probably scrap me and the hubby! 

It's been a very lazy weekend for me, but I think it's what I've been needing, I didn't go anywhere...just hung out with my sick kiddo, Kay Kay! Not wanting to go back tomorrow, but I have to. Back to reality I guess! Thanks for stopping by!

Time flies, our Morgan will be 12 in a week! I really don't know how that happened!

Here's a lo I did last night, some old scrap stuff and some printables I found through Pinterest...you can find them on my printables board Here. Yes I'm liking finding a mix of regular scrapbook stuff and digital, and it really helps when your broke...lol! Off to do some cleaning and hopefully more scrapping later. Enjoy your weekend!

Hit the Trails

Took some time today to head out on the trails. Not a ton of snow, fields were quite bumpy, but we had fun! I loved driving down the ridge, so cool! Hoping for more snow this week so we can go for a longer ride next weekend.

I did also managed to get another layout done today...it really helps to have printer ink, lol! I really love how it looks cartoony! I used some freebie digi stuff on it...can't afford to get much new stuff right now, so digital/hybrid might be the way to go. Again...thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Had some time to do another layout today. Finally got some printer ink...yippee!! So more layouts soon...gonna have to get creative cuz I don't have much stuff to work with...so I may become a hybrid scrapper, much easier to print stuff off that I need! Well hello, it's been awhile hasn't it! Sorry about that, but I'm back. Going to try to keep this thing up again! So what's new...well lots, my last photos of Tesla are a bit old now, she just turned a year old! I got back into scrapbooking...well trying to. I missed it, I love it! Here are the ones I just did. Waiting now to get some printer ink to ba able to print off some more pics. I have lots of ideas swirling around in my head....can't wait to get them on paper! I'll try to get some more recent photos posted too....especially of the mutt!

Tesla is getting so big so fast. She is calming down a bit too....which is good. And listening very well! Training her is going to be easy. And as I write this she just grabbed somebody's shoe...lol...yeah ok!

Wow...we are so amazed with her! I want to say and I hope I don't jinx it....she has not gone potty in the house yet!!!!! Every time we have taken her outside she has gone! I know we will have accidents....but man are we blessed, lol!

New Addition to our family

 Hanna and her puppies.

We went yesterday to meet our new puppy! Hanna had a litter of  9 pups, 4 male 5 female....we are getting a female. They are 5 weeks now so in 3 weeks we can go back and pick our girl! They are adorable and beautiful. Hanna was so precious and sweet, like she knew we where there for one of her puppies and she approved us! See, she's winking at me! Still thinking of a name, we have a few we are considering. Can't wait!!!!

Lazy Weekend!

Well my first few days at my new job were great! I love it there! This weekend was a lazy one...not that I mind. It's good too just unwind and relax. Besides going to church this morning we did get out and went sledding. That is something I haven't done since I was at least a teenager! It was fun.....and the first time I went down by myself I wiped out....awesome! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

My mini vacation is over

For the past year I've been struggling with work. I left my 15 year job last spring, got my real estate license, worked a short stint at Hobby Lobby, then for a gift card place. Nothing worked! Tomorrow I go back to work for a place similiar to my 15 year job. I'm excited! It finally feels like the right place to be. I am very thankful to my mother who will be now watching our girls in the morning before school. Sometimes you really have to wait for God's timing, it was hard, but I know it will be worth it!

So today is my last day at home....sniff. I will try to keep up with the blogging. I'm really enjoying it again! And I learned how to do a chain stitch in crochet yesterday....yeah me!

Easy-Peasy Peanut Butter Cookies

Easy Peanut Butter Cookies

1 c. Peanut Butter

1 c. Sugar

1 egg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all in a bowl till combined. Use a spoon to scoop out a small amount. Roll into about a 1inch size ball and place on a greased cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork, crosswise. Bake for 8-10 minutes. Makes about 2 dozen. You can easily double or even triple the recipe for more!

Yummy, Quick and Easy!!

Love making quick recipes on a rather lazy day. Today was that! Did a little bit of cleaning, a little bit of cooking and am now going to enjoy the rest of the day with some coffee and cookies!

If I really had the time...

I would go back to school....Crochet School that is. Although this is something I should make time for. It is something I have always wanted to learn. I always see so many pretty things and wished I could make them. So I'm glad this is avaliable! Now let's see how long it will actually take me to get through it!
