Such a long week....

and it's not even close to being over yet. As of today I have worked 44 hours, add another 6 to that tomorrow. And I'm still considered part-time at my job! The end of the month in manufacturing always sucks, especially when you are behind schedule...which we are. Thanks goodness Monday is actually the last day of the month. I think I need to plan a couple vacation days in April! Oh and to top it off...i've been sick. Yup it is still lingering, have the annoying head cold now.

Sunday...all I'm doing is scrapping....in my pj's.....ALL DAY LONG!

Got bit

by the flu bug, or something...not quite sure it was the flu. I never had a fever but I had severe body aches, sore throat, cough and was loosing my voice. I'm better today. This time of year is just dreadful. There is no signs of spring here yet....it's sleeting right now. Although I did here birds chirping this morning....so I guess that is a sign!

Almost done with my Cocoa Daisy for April. It's a cool kit, make sure you check it out on the 1st!! Oh and right now....go check out and post to the CD forum for a chance to win gift certificates!!! Off to watch American Idol...ttys!

and a week and a half later......

yes I know....bad blogger. Not much is happening here, dh still on strike, dd's have colds and one of them it sounds like croup, and spring is not showing up here at all. Hard to believe Easter is this Sunday!! I'm really looking forward to having (Good) Friday off of work. I have some much needed scrapbooking to get done! I did this layout last weekend between all the house cleaning. Well, off again...please say hi and maybe leave a {{Hug}} I could use one or two!! ttys!

This better be it!!!!

We haen't had this much snow all winter....and in one and a half days we have at least 14-18". I'm sooooooooooooo Ready for Spring!!

OK, I'm updating...

As much as it is hard for me to get on the computer during the week, it's near impossible for me to stay away from it on the weekend.

My dh has been on strike for two weeks now, not knowing the outcome is a bit frustrating and is not making our life all that simple. There is worry, doubt and depression to deal with. I know we are not alone in this right now. His company alone is 3,600 people...now that it is affecting GM there are at least 22,000 other people off on lay-offs, locally , around the country and in Canada. This is what corporate greed does...ruins the lives of thousands of familes. Think of that when you go to vote this year. Think of how many middle-class jobs this country is doing away with. Vote wisely my friends. Here is an excellant article about the strike if you are interested.

In other news.....I have two layouts on the Aussie Scrap-Source blog!! They are from Cocoa Daisy's July 07 kit. I was pretty excited when they asked me to use them.

Sometimes life just bites you in the ass and well it's biting really hard right now.
There will be a ton of changes going on in my life for the next month or so, so I need to be focused on that alone. If life does take a pleasent turn for the good I'll be back, but I'm not banking on it at the moment.
