Goodbye 2010

What a great way to end this year....Thrifting with my family!!! 3 stores and lots of goodies later...now we are all pooped! Got some great deals, even some clothes for the girls, and Hubby got a sweet black wool dress coat for $20. One of the stores we only got to spend 20 minutes in looking around because they were closing early....I will need to take a day off work when we go back cause the place was huge!!!
So GoodBye 2010! See you in 2011 with more blogging, more photos, more family and more thrifting...teehee!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. I know we did!
Already making lists for the new year, gathering ideas, cleaning and organizing. Now I just wish I had the time to accomplish these things! I do have a 3 day weekend coming up so at least the cleaning and organizing will get done. I don't plan on making any resolutions other than just being with my family....alot!
I do have a few projects I'd like to do...so I'll share that list in a few days! See you then!

Trust!!!!

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
Proverbs 3:5-6
Early Christmas presents for the girls. My dad and step mother always send them a gift card, so I let them use it before Christmas this year. Was really hoping they would pick out clothes rather than toys....yeah right!

Things have been a bit crazy the last few days....you know the saying when it rains it pours! Henry's truck broke down, so we have been down to one vehicle. That doesn't make things easy. I wanted to pick up more hours at work, but his work schedule this week has been hectic....so I can't. Just when you think things are going well, God give you tests! Sometimes it is really hard to have faith....I am trying. Today just got me down. But I know He gives us nothing we can't handle!!

My share for the day is this Link to some very festive Wreaths!!
I would love to try some if I only had the time!!

Thinking about cookies!

Each year you and your family are to eat them in the presence of the LORD your God at the place he will choose. Deuteronomy 15:20
Christmas cookies our on our minds! Within the next day or two we will be going through recipes and buying baking supplies. I think Saturday will be a good day to start! Something fun for the whole family to get involved with. So what are your favorite Christmas cookies? Have any recipes to share?

Check out this assortment of cookies on The Pioneer Woman's Blog!
