Time escapes me!

Again...sorry for my lack of blogging! Finally enjoying summer the way it should be enjoyed...by keeping very busy. July 1st we went to see Ed Kowalczyk the former lead singer of Live. It was amazing...he is amazing!!! The next day I went to see Our Lady Peace with some friends....it was so packed, I never saw the stage or the band! We spent the weekend with parties and swimming...my girls are fish! Had another trip to the beach....still in search of a glorious sunset...it was very hazy that day. So that was the past week....busy!
This weekend....here we go...lol. Last night we took the girls to see Gretchen Wilson, she was awesome!! Not quite sure what the weekend plans will included. Right now I'm enjoying my morning coffee and the house is quiet. The girls are still sleeping...it's lovely! We may take them to Artpark for Family Saturday . Let them enjoy some art and Shakespeare!
So once again I will try my best to keep up. Share our adventures and keep up with all of your blogs. Peace and have a lovely Summer weekend!

Busy but fun week.

Had a good week. The girls are done with school. The first day I took them and a friend to Fort Niagara beach, they had a blast, got completely soaked. It was fun just watching them have so much fun! We took them to see the fireworks over Niagara Falls on Friday night. I really thought they would be more impressed with the falls....they were bored, lol. How can you be bored with that much power right in front of you. Guess you have to be a little older to enjoy the beauty of it.
I wanted to get to an indie fair that was going on in Buffalo this past weekend, but it rained most of Saturday so I guess I'll have to catch the next one. I also one a little something on the littlest polly blog, so exciting!! Which in turn has inspired me to do a give away very soon, hopefully I can get to it this week. Now I just need more followers!!!
Have a Happy Sunday everyone!!

Happy Summer!!!

A view of Toronto from Fort Niagara. I really should take my 70-300mm lens the next time I go there! Anyhow, it's the first day of Summer and it was a beautiful 80 degree day! What are your summer plans? The girls only have 3 days left of school, so I need to start planning some activities for them! First thing is taking the girls to see Niagara Falls. We live 10 minutes away and I have never taken them!!! So Friday we are going to my sil's for about an hour of swimming, then going to the Falls, then we plan on sticking around to see the fireworks there...something I've never done! I really want to do a lot this year...hope we can pack it all in!

Yard sale finds!!

I would have to say it was a good yard sale day! Plus a few things for my daughters. I didn't spend much over $20. Gotta love it! Now I need to buy a few cans of spray paint for a few makeovers and I'll be all set!

All Dogs Go To Heaven

We lost our Beautiful Sara tonight. She was truly the best dog ever. The girls could do and have done everything imaginable to her and she never once growled or snipped at them. She put up with so much, she was a wonderful protector, a man's best friend indeed. Love you Sara....Rest in Peace.

Just a day....

Today was rather uneventful. Did some much needed cleaning and went through a bunch of old magazines. It's nice to purge once and awhile, and I tore out a bunch of recipes I will hopefully try soon!

Flowers, Cameras and kid!

Pretty blooms today! Dahlias and a Tiger Lily! Last year I had about 10 Tiger Lilies blooming at once, this year only one, not sure what happened!
And this is the beginning of my camera collection. I have found most of these at yard sales, flea markets and one at the Salvation Army. The most i ever spent was $10...not bad! Oh the Minolta on the bottom was my last film camera, I really must pick up a roll of film sometime...maybe some B&W! The other one on the bottom is patented 1908, it's a Kodak Brownie Automatic. Middle shelf is my Polaroids. and the top shelf is a Polaroid land camera, next to that is a Kodak Vigilant junior six-20 and then a cheap little Continental Electroflash...lol, I just thought it was cute. And not making the shelf are my Canon 30D and 50D and my good ole Sony Cyber-Shot. So I'm a bit of a camera junkie!
And then there is the "Cute Shot of the Day"!! Everyone needs to do this...c'mon...just stick out your tongue and blow raspberries!!!
