Decided to go thrifting last Thursday...just about fell over when I saw this pile!! Vintage Pyrex set ( 42 pieces) from the 50's for $29.99! My first thought was to try to sell it...but now it is growing on me. Today I hand washed all of it(like it's a baby) and made it all shiny and clean, lol! Tonight for dinner...a good ole tuna noodle casserole!

Sick Day

 Stayed home from work yesterday....was NOT feeling good! But since we had to go pick up our youngest from school we decided to hit the little used furniture store not far from the school. The one thing we have been wanting to find is a coffee table. We haven't had one in 9 years because we were always so afraid the girls would trip, fall and hit their little heads on it! Well I think its finally safe to have one...and here she is. Not perfect....but it can be changed in the future.

And this unique sign for the kitchen...lol. I don't remember those days of being able to drink at 18 but my husband says he was just turning 18 when they changed it to 19, then just turning 19 when they changed it to 21! So I thought it was a fun sign to have!

And these girls! So much to say so little time...I'll just say they make me happy!

And he does too...even if he took the nap when I should of!!

Getting used to the new year. There are so many things I want to accomplish, just wish I had more time! One thing I did get a chance to do today is this....LillieFaith Vintage.
I started my Etsy shop today. Well....I should say reopened because I used to sell stuff a few years ago. I will be adding more within the next week. So please check back!!

Thoughts on 2011

Been thinking of things we want to accomplish this year...here are a few.

• Paint - Living room, our bedroom and girls bedroom. The living room will be going from a drab olive green to and antique white....I want it to be brighter in here! Our bedroom will be going from a Victorian purple to probably a grey...not sure of the shade yet. And the girls bedroom going from a Disney pink to a light purple.

• A back porch remodel...it's falling down, lol. Which once we do that we will be able to open up our kitchen for a bit more room.
• New windows...if money permits.
• Lots of small projects that I will be posting here...repurposing!
• And my husband and I will be getting Baptized and renewing our wedding vows!

Looking forward to 2011!!

Goodbye 2010

What a great way to end this year....Thrifting with my family!!! 3 stores and lots of goodies later...now we are all pooped! Got some great deals, even some clothes for the girls, and Hubby got a sweet black wool dress coat for $20. One of the stores we only got to spend 20 minutes in looking around because they were closing early....I will need to take a day off work when we go back cause the place was huge!!!

So GoodBye 2010! See you in 2011 with more blogging, more photos, more family and more thrifting...teehee!
