Something to beat the Winter Blues!

I miss summer already! This was inspired by my friend Judi's layout. I really do like getting back to more simple layouts....I think I need to keep this in my head when creating this year. Keep it simple! And to do more 8-1/2x11 layouts that way I can actually put them away in binders! I'm off the natives are restless this morning! Have a good weekend!

Ever fall in Love with....

someone musically? For me it is Dallas Green. He has this little side gig called City and Colour and is a member of the band Alexisonfire and they hail from St. Catherines, Ont., which is just hop across the ditch from me. When I first heard him sing my heart melted. And now he has a new album coming out on Feb. 12th....I'm so excited. Anyhow, back in March I saw AOF here in Buffalo....it was great. But what was even better was that I practically had dinner with him before the show. Me and sis went to eat at TGIF's and when we got our seat I looked over and he along with a few other members of the band were at the table next to us. I was so close and never said a word...I wish I would have, but I'm sure he would of thought I was his oldest(age wise) groupie ever!! If you get a chance to visit his page you must listen to the song "Waiting". I have listened to it at least 15 times already today.

50th post and a Rak....

Wow my 50th post on this blog already....I miss typepad, lol.

Good Morning New Year!!!

I think it's going to be a good year!!

Today....out to breakfast with mom, then maybe a little shopping. Need to find some winter boots, my pair of 12 yo boots from Nine West just aren't cutting it anymore. Jeez I miss working there, oh yeah that was 12 years ago! Anyhow, trying not to get too off track here. After that I'll be coming home, getting nice and cozy on the couch to watch The Winter Classic . Kinda cool that this is happening here in Buffalo and we are getting plenty of snow today too.....this should be interesting!

Also the DT Gallery is up at Cocoa Daisy. This is such a gorgeous kit....go look!!! Ok, I'm off to finish putting on my make-up...ciao!
